97351 MATOURY, GUYANE, as the data controller, undertakes to ensure that the collection and processing of your data complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (RGPD) EU n°2016/679 of April 27, 2016 and with the amended Loi informatique et Liberté of January 6, 1978.

What information does AZC collect?

Only data that is useful to us is collected with the aim of getting to know you better and responding as effectively as possible to your questions and requests.

How does AZC use your personal information?

AZC uses the information you send us to provide the services we offer and to inform you of the various insurance products and services we market. This is done for explicit, legitimate and specific purposes related to our various businesses.

Your personal data is used for the purposes of prospecting, taking out, managing and fulfilling your insurance contracts, and may also be processed for the purposes of :

• Execute and manage your contract
• Comply with legal, regulatory and administrative provisions in force
• To develop our services, to improve our risk management and to assert our rights, in particular for purposes of proof of transactions, recovery or prevention of fraud and abuse.
• To set up statistics on the frequentation of the various sections of this site

Who receives your personal data?

In the strict context of the stated purposes, the recipients of your data are the departments of the AZC companies.
They may also be processed by our partners, in particular brokers and reinsurers, subcontractors, service providers, lawyers, experts and, where applicable, the insurance or social organizations of the persons involved, as well as persons interested in the contract.
These transfers may be made to third countries, outside the European Union only insofar as this is necessary to perform the services that are the subject of the contract or to meet a legal obligation; AZC undertakes to transmit your data under appropriate and suitable conditions of security and confidentiality in accordance with the RGPD and the Loi informatique et Libertés.

How long do you keep your personal data?

The length of time we keep your personal data depends on whether or not you have an insurance contract and, if you do, how long you have to cancel your insurance contract.

AZC undertakes not to keep your personal data beyond the period necessary for the provision of the service, increased by the retention period imposed by the rules applicable in legal prescription.

If you have requested information on insurance products but the Insurer has not agreed to the conclusion of the insurance contract, your Personal Data will be deleted 3 years after the last contact between you and your Insurer.

Personal data concerning you that is relevant to the insurance contract, in particular tax data, will be deleted after the statutory retention period has expired, at the earliest 10 years after the expiry of the insurance contract. The general retention period for your personal data may exceptionally be extended insofar as this is required for the establishment, exercise or defense of a legal claim.

We take advantage of this Data Protection Policy to draw your attention to the fact that different deletion periods are provided for the different categories of data, where applicable, at the end of the category in question.

Is your personal data secure?

Access to the AZC server is secure.

We are committed to protecting your personal data by implementing enhanced data protection measures using physical and logical security measures that comply with the state of the art and the standards imposed on us, in order to reduce the risks of loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure and modification. These rules apply whether the data is transferred to a country within or outside the European Union.

What rights do you have to protect your personal data?

• Right of access : you can obtain information about the processing of your personal data and a copy of your personal data.
• Right of rectification : if you believe that your personal data is inaccurate or incomplete, you may request that it be amended accordingly.
• Right to erasure : you may request the erasure of your personal data to the extent permitted by law.
• Right to restrict processing : you may request that we restrict the processing of your personal data.
• Right to object : you may object to the processing of your personal data for reasons relating to your particular situation. You have the absolute right to object to the processing of your personal data for the purposes of commercial canvassing, including the profiling associated with such canvassing.
• Right to data portability, where applicable, you have the right to have the personal data you have provided to us returned to you or, where technically possible, transferred to a third party.
• The right to set up instructions for the storage, deletion or communication of your personal data, applicable after your death.
• Right to withdraw your consent : if you have given your consent to the processing of your personal Data, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. This means that the Insurer will no longer be able to continue processing the Data that was based solely on that consent.
