Based in Saint-Barthélemy since 2014, chef Romain Gouiran cut his teeth at the restaurant L’Esprit Saline, where he refined his technique and developed a real sensitivity to local produce.
In October 2025, he took over the restaurant "La Licorne" with the desire to share his passion through authentic and gourmet cuisine.
Deeply attached to his island, Romain promotes local flavors by working closely with fishermen and producers to showcase the region's resources and support the island's economy.
With his simple menu and chalkboard specials, the chef offers a friendly and sincere culinary experience guided by passion, sharing, and taste.
La Licorne has a terrace shaded by a century-old mango tree, offering a typical setting in which to enjoy fresh fish and homemade creations.
